A firm built around how matters actually arrive.

Not one problem at a time, and rarely inside a single practice area.

Who we are

Buzi Law Professional Corporation

Buzi Law is a full-service Ontario practice. We act for families, property owners, tenants and landlords, newcomers, contractors and owner-operated businesses — often for the same client across several of those at once.

That range is deliberate. A separating spouse who owns a corporation and a rental property needs family, corporate, real estate and estate advice at the same time, from someone who can see how each decision moves the others. Splitting that across firms is how things get missed, and how costs multiply.

What we will not do is dress up uncertainty. If a claim is not worth what it will cost to pursue, we will say so. If a matter is outside what we do well, we will tell you that too, and point you somewhere better.

Jonida Buzi

Founder and Principal Lawyer · Buzi Law Professional Corporation

Jonida Buzi founded Buzi Law Professional Corporation on a simple observation from practice: most people do not arrive with one tidy legal problem. They arrive with a separation that has a house and a corporation attached to it, or a purchase that turns out to have an estate behind it, and they get passed between firms while the clock runs.

She built the firm to hold those matters together. Jonida takes the first call herself, stays on the file, and keeps the whole picture in view — how a support order interacts with a shareholding, how a status certificate changes a closing, how an immigration timeline affects when a property should transfer. Clients deal with their lawyer, not a queue.

Her approach is plain-spoken and deliberately unsentimental about cost. You will be told early whether you have a matter worth pursuing, what it is realistically likely to involve, and what it will cost — in writing, before the work starts. If a claim is not worth what it takes to run, she will say so, and if a matter sits outside what the firm does well, she will point you somewhere better.

  • Direct access — Your lawyer takes the call and stays on the file.
  • Across areas — Family, property, estates, immigration and business, in one place.
  • Costs in writing — Scope and fees agreed before the work begins.

What you can expect

Four commitments.

  • One firm, every matter — A separating spouse who owns a corporation and a rental property needs family, corporate, real estate and estate advice at once. Most firms cover one of those.
  • Direct lawyer access — No intake queue, no case manager relaying messages. You speak to the person doing the work.
  • Fees agreed in advance — A written estimate before we start, and a conversation — not an invoice — if the scope changes.
  • Plain language — You will be told what the law requires, what your options are, and what we would do. Without the hedging that makes legal advice useless.

How we work

From first call to closed file.

01

Tell us what happened

A short conversation, at no charge, to work out whether you have a matter, whether we are the right firm for it, and what the realistic range of outcomes looks like.

02

Get it in writing

Before any work begins you receive a written scope and fee estimate. Fixed fee where the work is predictable, hourly where it is not — and you are told which, and why.

03

Work the file

You deal with a lawyer, not a queue. You are told what is happening, what is needed from you, and what comes next, without having to chase it.

04

Close it out

The matter finishes with the documents in your hands, the file properly closed, and a clear note of anything you should revisit later.
